The "Country Ballad Solo II" lesson is an amalgamation of modern and classic country sounds. It's part 50's country and western and part 2000's hot country. The tone is twangy and wet. I'm using the Tele bridge pickup with some compression, a cranked amp, a slapback delay, and a lot of spring reverb. While there are quite a few double-stop licks, my favorite elements are the ascending D pentatonic lick with some Brad Paisley style flair and the double-stop bend/slide a la Jim Campilongo. Enjoy!
