  • The "Bakersfield Country II" lesson is another lesson inspired by the guitar work of Buck Owens and Don Rich. This sound IS twang. Ideally you would be playing on a Telecaster's bridge pickup through a pretty clean amp. Funny enough my Tele is in the shop so I'm playing my Strat with single-coils in the bridge position. The first thing that I think of in this style is riffing with the Pentatonic Major scale. Also in this lesson we will utilize some steel guitar style bends, double-stops, and open-string pull-offs.
