Hello all and welcome to GMC's first "Official" gear review! hopefully this will help get us started

Sound

Great is all i have to say, the types of distortion range on this pedal are very wide, i have several setting for differnt tunings and sounds, ive got a setting for low tunings like C Standard to Drop A, One for E Standard to Drop C, And i have some for different styles of music like Blues, 70's Led Zeppelin kinda sound, a "Classical" one, which just accents the high end a little bit more for fast licks, and of course one for Metal! Whatever your style of music, however many they are, this pedal can handle it. from a beefy detuned metal riffage to a low gain blues lead, DF-7 has it.

Durability

This pedal has plenty of it, it wont break or malfunction easily, its built like a friggin' Panzer Tank, and unless you use batteries, the sound is always fresh, i reccommend using the 9V Adapter because the average battery for me lasts like 2 days at most, thats why i dropped a mere $12.95 for a basic adapter.

Worth The Price?

I know some of you might say, "Well they are other distortion pedals that are alot cheaper"....Well yes, there is, but ive tried many of them, from Boss, Zoom, and all down the line, i am most satisfied with this pedal, it gives me a great sound and very many options to change it if needed. plus guys, if im not mistaken, Pavel also swears by this pedal

Alternative Pedal

If you can't, or don't want to fork up the $99.99, a decent alternative pedal would be the Digitech Death Metal Distortion, its half the price, but its also half as good
