It's like Kris said, trying the things that's above and beyond your ability keeps it interesting. Unless you have been practicing chops for quite a while, this is extremely hard to play! However - that doesn't stop it from being very inspirational for a beginner - in fact I am sure a beginner could learn something from this lesson, even if it's just a tiny passage. (that's how I started out - attempting things that were way beyond my level, those were the only things that inspired me).
For people who have been practicing almost half their life (such as me) - it's a little tricky remembering what is difficult and what is not!
Once again I must say that this is a killer solo!

Hello GMC! This time I'll try to introduce mix of Jazz and Rock. This is just a simple example that can be a good practice for Fusion players and everyone who like this kind of playing.
The key is D minor and the cord progression is:
*-Dm 7/9 - Gm 7/9 - B - B flat maj7-*
Tempo is 130 bpm.
This lesson contains:
- D minor, G dorian, B lydian, B flat lydian
- tapping
- alternate picking
- tapping with string skipping
- 3 string arpeggios
