Hi Guys,
Welcome to my lesson No. 44
Our Topic today is about Fusion Rock. Guitar players like Scott Henderson, Alan Holdsworth, Steve Lukather, Mike Stern, Greg Howe, Brett Garsed for example are known for their cool Mix of Jazz, Funk and Rock.
So I made a tune that goes in this direction by using some interesting scales and chords.
We have the typical song structure AABA
A Part 0:04-0:20
| F#m7 | % | F#m6 | % |
| D/F# | % | F#m6 | G/C# F/C# |
A Part 0:21-0:39
| F#m7 | % | F#m6 | % |
| D/F# | % | F#m6 | G/C# F/C# |
B Part 0:40-0:56
| AMaj7#4 | % | Fadd9/A | %|
| Cm79/11 | % | Am7b5 | D79#4 C#7#9 C#7b9|
A Part 0:57-1:16
| F#m7 | % | F#m6 | % |
| D/F# | % | F#m6 | G/C# F/C# F#m7|
Have fun! ;-)
Final words
I tried to transcribe as close as possible. Specially in the Guitar Pro 5 you'll find all this little extras!
Cheers - Guido
