excellent lesson! i'm struggling a bit with the down up muted "chugging." i'm finding it hard to do it consistentatly on the upstroke. i think it might be to do with my pick angle or maybe just not digging in hard enough? any tips? or are there any lessons which break it down a bit more? thanks ivan
That's great man, welcome aboard btw! If you have any questions regarding this lesson, any other, or anything in general, just let me know! Cheers
Lovely! Just bought subscription and found immediately a lesson about my favorite band
Marvelous!
Yes I know what you mean, Smash and Ixnay were the best IMO, as some songs from Americana are as well, but the rest is just not-as-good to say at least
...and thanks you didn't make an "in style of offspring's last 2 albums" lesson If you know what I mean...
Hmm, thanks for the input guys, I will see what I can do!
Rocking lesson, Ivan! This punk style was definitely worth it after the blues!
On your question: the audio track does start a little bit earlier... so it's a bit out of sync for me.
Great riffing Ivan!
Video and audio quality is fine, didn`t noticed your question..
you rock! that was fantastic! Going to learn this right now
Thanks again guys
one question: does anybody else except at lights end gets audio sync issues with the main video? If you experience those issues I will fix it right away.
Awesome! You nailed it
cool lesson, sounds just like the offspring.
it might just be my computer but i think the video lags behind the audio a bit.
That does sound just like Offspring!
Well done Ivan all round... lesson, video and audio is great!
Great riffing Ivan
Really good riffing there!
Thanks, I tried my best to sound like the Offspring, some members requested it, so I hope I did good.
Once again Ivan...you NAILED it! That sounds exactly light the Offspring!!!!!

Great, I love the Offspring! Some tight riffing there!
Great lesson Ivan, it rocks and I love the new video format
Hey guys, welcome to my new lesson, this time we are doing Offspring style power chord riffs. :)
As you all know, Offspring made a major breakthrough in Californian Punk scene with a couple of their very successful albums. Among those albums one is loaded with energy and great songs and that is "Smash". This lesson is inspired by that album.
Fast and catchy riffs, melodic power chord progressions, and lots of palm muting in between, characteristic to punk. Enjoy. :)
