  • Hey guys!

In this lesson we will play the rhythm section of a Pantera Style track.

Of course, in term of guitar playing, I'm inspired by the one and only Dimebag Darrell!

Basically it’s a groove in E minor with that I recorded using a kemper profile (Black Cemetery).
I use a lot of alternate picking and downpicking. The blues scale of E is the main scale used in this piece.

Remember to play it slow and to figure out the chord shape before practicing it at the normal speed.

It is a rock/blues ballad recorded at 80 bpm. Work a lot on the dynamics while you’re playing such as like “forte" and “piano”. The hybrid picking will force you to learn to control your fingers and your right hand in general. Of course, pay attention to the timing.
