  It's quite simple. If you are familair with recording in any kind of DAW that supports VST plugins - even Reaper or Ableton can do this You need to find Poulin or LePou page in the web. There are free plug-ins for download. Somewhere else there is also free "kefir impulse loader" to download. You need to create a guitar track and launch both of these plug-ins on it. You can also find a pack of catharsis impulses for free in the net. One I mention here is included in the pack. You plug your guitar straight into interface, press monitor fucntion on the track so you could hear the guitar through these plug-ins and your ready to record. Let's me know if you need some additional help. We'll create a forum topic so anyoine could use some of this feedback

Welcome to the Creed style lesson !

Creed was one of my favorite bands from the Milenium period. It was time when from a hard rock and metal genres, something new has evolved. So what Creed delivered, was something between rock and metal. Heavy, powerful, yet still melodic and without dense, fast playing. Overall power was the purpose. In this lesson I invite You to get familiar with and "extract" of Creed's playing. For the tone purpose we will use Poulin Lecto plugin, which is a simulation of Mesa DR - amp used by Mark Tremonti at the period of "human clay" album.

Gear used (in order of connection chain placement):

1. Hufschmid 18th Ann electric guitar
2. Presonus Inspire 1394 firewire audio interface (input gain 40%)
3. Poulin Lecto vst plug-in (Mesa DR simulation): default settings
4. Kefir impulse loader (mix 100%)
5. Impulse - Catharsis s-preshigh

Tuning - Dropped B(B6 E5 A4 D3 F#2 B1)
