  • Hi GMC'ers! In this lesson we are using the Harmonic minor scale. You will learn how to combine this scale in order to add a medieval feeling to your songs. This lesson also gives you a simple but very effective way to combine eighth and eighth triplet notes. I will show you this by explaining how to combine alternate picking with legato.

    Chord Progression:
    * Em-Eb5dim-Em-Eb5dim-Em-Eb5dim-Am-Em
    * Em-Bb-Em-F
    * A-G
    * A-Bb-C-A

    Techniques:
    * Alternate Picking
    * Legato
    * Vibrato
    * Bend

    Scales:
    * E Harmonic Minor
    * A major

    Tuning:
    * One step down
    * Eb - Ab - Db - Gb - Bb - Eb
    (From thick to thin string)

    Equipment:
