  • Welcome to the Vintage Rock #1 lesson!

This time we'll go through some simple concepts of using guitar for a vintage rock playing. To truly feel the spirit of 70s we'll use a vintage kind of distortion. For this purpose any kind of tube screamer related device or software would be a good choice. Usually these little beasts are used to boost the original drive of a tube amp, but as a standalone it delivers this specific, compressed overdrive with the feeling of clean tone cutting through. It's a specific family of drive pedals that is easy to get these days and perfect for the purpose we want to challenge in this lesson.
