Heheh yeah it seems it doesn't match. Generally this one is a little bit harder then the previous one in the series as it utilizes string skipping.
Wow, some differance in "lesson-level-grading" compared to the previous lessons in the series
great lesson - i love slap bass..thanks
Thanks Bogdan, I always wanted to do this stuff, this may be the oportunity to learn it.

This slapping concept is very effective when constructing slap lines and its not that hard to master!
Very cool Bogdan - I need to learn how to slap!
Hello GMC!
-In today's lesson we are going to work on our slap bass technique. As with previous lessons in this series, this one uses the same groove but makes it even more complex and challenging. Hammer-ons will be our focus here and this time you are also going to play 16th notes utilizing ghost notes but this time you will do some string skipping and "jumping" around. This "pattern" will allow you to play challenging and interesting fast slap bass lines.
-Backing is funky, from techniques you are going to play hammer-ons, thumping dead notes and plucking dead (or ghost) notes. This lesson will show you a slap bass technique which you can instantly adapt to your own slap lines composing. 16th notes will give you a nice "going in circles" slap bass feel to the line.
-This lesson is in the key of Em. I used the E minor pentatonic scale exclusively in constructing this groove.
-Key: Em
-Tempo: 120 bpm
-Time signature: 4/4
-Tuning: standard
-Difficulty: intermediate/advance
Equipment I used for getting this sound was: Peavey Cirrus bass with active soapbar pickups, equal mix of both of them with added treble and middle on onboard eq - then going to the nemesis (eden) amp with a 1x15" and slightly added bass and treble there (at 1 o'clock position). Feel free to ask me any questions in the lesson feedback and in my instructor board at forum.
Enjoy and I hope you'll have a lot of fun slapping in this one!
