  • Hello Friends!

Continuing with the Angular Phrasing course I'd like to talk about symmetrical scale.

In fact you don't need to memorize a ton of new scales to apply outsides. I myself often apply tricks on pentatonic scales and major/minor scales when I want to sound outside.

But, for those who are looking for "the ouside sound" it is essential that the guitar player knows at least one type of symmetrical scale.

You will have a very satisfactory result if you know how to generate outsides in the most known scales and add some symmetric scale.

In this lesson I will suggest the study of one of the coolest symmetrical scales that I use a lot.

So let's learn about the Messiaen Mode 3, it will be fun!

Grab your guitar and enjoy :)
