  • Welcome to "The Major Scale" theory lesson. This is first lesson in a new series introducing music theory. Here we look at arguably the most fundamental scale, the major scale. We discuss what constitutes the major scale, covering the idea of scale degrees and intervals. These concepts will inform future lessons in this series.

    Tone-wise I am using the neck pickup on my Tele. I am using a simulated Fender-style amp with a little spring to get a basic clean tone.
