Hi folks!
In this lesson let's take a closer look at part of one of my original songs - it's called Seven.
The song is played on a 7 strings guitar. But the part covered in this lesson you can play on 6 strings ass well!
I selected this part because it contains many interesting techniques like hybrid picking, arpeggios and taping. At the beginning I played a crazy lick , don't have a tonality, something symetrical only to give a different sound effect and a cool bridge to next part.
Next part has a sequence of hybrid picking stuff. I enjoy that!
The solo is C#m (aeolian) What I like in this solo are the melodies. Sometimes it's not necessary to shred..and shred everything. Just feel and let the music speak to you. This solo was created when I was warming up, so it was 90% improvisation :)
Ok!!! Let's have fun!
Main key = C#m
Tuning = Standard
BPM = 133
