The "Rhythm and Claw II" lesson is the second country-style rhythm that specifically utilizes a hybrid technique. This lesson simulates the chording ideas of a piano player with double and triple-stops. The shapes and movements are tight and often utilize the sus4. The tone is a typically country tone but a bit warmer. I'm using the neck pickup on the Tele with some compression, an overdriven amp, and spring reverb. This lesson utilizes a lot of hybrid picking. If you are not yet comfortable with that technique check out some of my videos that focus on that concept.
