Great lesson! I have a question regarding playing faster hybrid picking parts. Are you using your finger to pluck the E notes on the D string to get that snap sound? If so, do you have any pointers on how to combine alternate picking and hybrid picking? For example, do you always use a downpicked note before the plucked note or do you use regular alternate picking? I find it easier to pick up down on the first pair of muted notes before I pluck the E note on the D string. On the second pair of muted notes, picking up then down again slows me down right after plucking the E note. I'd normally just alternate pick a part like this, but I'm not sure on how to combine that up hybrid picking. I hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance!
