-Guitar Lesson:
This is a lesson for intermediate or advanced. Here I show you how to play a song in the style of James Burton from Louisiana, United States, a guitarist pioneer in the use of the electric guitar in the rock and roll world. He plays with a lot of singers and groups since 1957, including Ricky Nelson, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Everly Brothers, The Beach Boys, Sonny and Cher, Gram Parsons, Roy Orbison or Elvis Costello; also plays with songwriters like Joni Mitchell or Emmylou Harris; and country stars like Johnny Cash, John Denver, Claude King or The 5th Dimension. His sound, usually achieved with a Fender Telecaster, helped define rock and roll in the 50's. Here I use his hybrid picking technique to make the rhythm and some of his solo phrases.
