I'm glad to read this, thank's for your words. I have been playing blues for many years and I really like the blues from the delta.I like the jazzier flavor too.
Yes, in the 40s the guitarists who played blues had learned jazz, even some songs only accompanied piano and voice, that's why those Twist sound Jazzies.
