! I'm glad if you like it guys , BIG thanks respect for these country pickers: much technique is involved in this style of playing.
It sounded great the chord progression is nice.
How did you create this "country"tone I have Pod XT live no GTR5 so your settings would be helpful.
This is a good question but the answer is a bit harder: First of all you need to know something - this is a $ 100 worth guitar !
But it has what I needed for this lesson- " twang" tone ! I researched a lot, and listened to country music player to caught the ton as closely as possible, so whether I have succeeded ? It's up to you to judge .
Anyway, I came to this :
A key to the Tele/twang sound is,literary, in your fingers, don't pluck - use your fingers to snap the strings against the frets !
Use a compressor to out the attack and to squish the tone ! An ideal amp for a Tele sound is 7ender Deluxe Reverb and Twin Reverb,which I got from GR5. And finally - keep your strings fresh,it's gonna twang much much better !!

Thanks man ! It's my Canon 550D ,(check out my instructor board topic "DSLR freaks"). Editing was done in Vegas Pro 10 !

Welcome to my country miniatures. This genre has always been interesting to me. A simple progression, sometimes melancholic melodies, distinctive string domination and nice pentatonic phrases that immediately enter in the ears. This time I've used fingerpicking technique to get a steel guitar sound.
