Really good
Fantastic ! working on since 3 weeks ! I wonder if there wouldn't small mistakes in the tabs notation (part 4 and 6) ?
One of the best neoclassical song I've ever heard. That backing track is pure awesomeness, it's pure mega bomb, killer ! I want a whole piece of music with that backing track !!! PLEASE
BRAVO!!!
nice sounding concerto man!
Amazing arrangement!
Awesome stuff my friend !!!
this is really a masterpiece!
it seems to have a lot of Yngwie`s style, but it might contain Piotr`s as well ;-)
really like it!
The TAB for video 7 seems to be missing 2 beats of that fast ascending run.
Great lesson. I may tackle this one if I'm feeling extra manly one day.
Great lesson Piotr, you nailed the feel here man

Indeed fantastic Piotr.
Well done!!
Great neoclassic material in this lesson to study
Fantastic Piotr - this lesson sure has a given place along with our brilliant collection Yngwie lessons! Also - Yngwie's Orchestra album is probably my favorite one (along with Magnum Opus)
Hello GMC!
I've always wanted to give lesson in the style of Yngwie Malmsteen,
but after watching Marcus, Emir and Gabriel’s lessons I gave up.
Finally, one day I found a tape of my early recordings. Especially
one track reminds me of Hans Zimmer compositions and yes - Yngwie Malmsteen’s
Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra released in 1998.
So, I've engaged my private orchestra again and recorded this little tune :)
We are going to use:
- alternate picking,
- vibrato
- sweep picking
- barouque technics like ostinato,
Tempo: 120
Time sig: 12/8
I used mostly a minor scale, but please notice the following modulations:
00:00 A minor (= A aeolian)
00:35 D harmonic minor
00:38 A harmonic minor
00:41 D harmonic minor
00:44 A harmonic minor
00:47 back to A minor
This is the preset I used for the POD XT live for this lesson:
Amp: Line 6 Chemical X , Drive 8 - Bass 5 - Middle 6- Treble 4 - Presence 4
Cab: 4x12 2001 Treadplate
Dly: Multihead delay,
Rev: DAW reverb
Stomp: Classic Distortion
The lesson is available in the guitar pro 5 file, mp3 backing tracks included.
Enjoy!
Piotr
