Anyways, I have to tell you that I always write my music without thinkg about what key im at or what scales i might wanna us. Honestly I don't know that much about theory, but at the end for me creativity means everything if You know what I mean;) Still, I might be able to help you with that, though. The pattern you can use is Am pattern (using it on Eb tuning will make all the notes one half step bellow than it says on the picture, but the pattern is the same):
Picking is mostly alternate picking - based, as Attila writes bellow the first slow video.

LuciferHimself3rd June 2011Hi Attile Its a great display of your playing but i wouldnt call it a lesson because you did not explain anything in terms of how you formed the concepts behind you riffs. I mean the solo and riffs and scales?? I can imitate this by sitting down for a few hours but what did i learn? Dont get me wrong but it would be great if you can combine this all with the theoretical view as well. Thanks Faraz.

Hey dear GMC-ers,
This time around I choose one of my own song (precisely the lead part of it) to share with you here on GMC.
I used my Schecter C-7 Hellraiser droped down to Ab.
Tuning : Ab-Eb-Ab-Dd-Gb-Bb-Eb.
For those of you who wants to learn the whole piece and not just the solo section, I did a detailed guitar pro file with all the pickings and phrasings even for the rhythm parts at the beginning and at the end of the lesson. The reason why I did this way is because I would love to influence you to use your ears and creative imagination which I think is as helpful as learning and practicing something „by the book”. Honestly I would suggest you to try to learn that part by ear, and see what happens.:)
