Hi everybody!
I'm back to the electric guitar for this lesson. I wrote this solo over a chord progression reminescent of "While my guitar gently weeps" by The Beatles. I suggest you listen to this tune.
On the album version (The White Album) the solo was played by Eric Clapton.
You can find more information here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/While_My_Guitar_Gently_Weeps
I use some sweeping licks. So, the solo should be named.. While my guitar gently sweeps.
:-| I'm a humorist, I know.
Seriously, feel free to change the timing and try to adapt these licks in your own playing.
However, this lesson is not a sweeping exercise! So I hope it will be useful also for players that are still learning this technique.
Gear used:
Washburn N2 -> Marshall Valvestate VS230 -> Shure SM57 mic -> PC
I used a rotary effect (software) for guitar to add a kind of "vintage feel".
Key: A minor
Time signature: 4/4
Tempo: 60 bpm
