Still incredible after all this years
Hehe you can do it Ruva!! Just keep at it!!
I can play it it's easy............................................................................
................................................................................
.
.....................................................at 110.
uuhhuuuu 140!!!! next month i want 150!!!!!!!!!
So amazing! since 12.01.17 im trying... i am in 130... i want 150... i dont make other thing... only this chalenger!!!
There's no way I'll ever play this, even at half speed, but that's awesome muris... You are so fast it's just unbelievable.
This thing is mind blowing! Thanks a lot.
Thank you!! Can you send me 90 & 120 ?
How can I download the Slow backtracks ? I just seem to be able to download the 150
Gabriel thanks so much for that info! I currently use a 1.5 dunlop (the purple one), but I've heard that if the pick is in a shape of a tear drop (dunlop jazz III) that is helps speed in some way. I guess I'll have to try them.
Awesome lesson, are you using speed picking on the first bars or alternate ? Also what type of pick are you using ? Thank you.
nice, very nice
no doubt...Muris...You're a gigant player! Awesomelesson for Yngwie fans. I also Love that eastern flavour in You're playing!
Ive been challenged by this GREAT lesson...patience grasshopper...patience
How many years do I have to learn it? I think I can not even play at 25% of this speed LOL
Respect man! Awesome!
love this way of playing classic great !
You have certainly honed your craft Muris. Awesome playing.
muris i cant begin to tell you how long iv been trying to master this. i have to bow down YOU RULE!!!
That is Extreme..... My hand just fell off
God have mercy on me sigh.
Is it possible to download the 70 bpm backingtrack? ?:>
i couldent believe there were only 9 steps...i was looking for more! :0
your a beast
Awesome!!! But still suffering at the sweeps!!!
No matter how many times I watch this video, I'm always astonished by the accuracy cleanness and speed of your playing.
Unbelievable . . .
Awesome! Thanx for lesson Muris
insane!!!
Its so haard!
all the fast picking is so hard!
You are a virtouso!
And this song sounds great to
Well done mate! See you soon!
Dang!!!!!!! This shows a master when he can do a level10 lesson!
Emir did.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlfBOJkiD80...=1&index=14
Who did actually complete this lesson at full speed?
nearly impossible, it is a 10 difficult level
Cheers Chowy and welcome to GMC.
totally amazing muris, you rock!!!
Thanks, nice to hear that it's inspiring, rock on!
So, Muris. Let me start by saying you'r a huge inspiration for me! I saw some of you'r videos on youtube, and pretty much kinda made me join this site in the first place! I'm gonna practice this, well im gonna do it in a very slow tempo of course! And il see how i prorgress from there! Thank you Muris!
LOL
The next English dictionary will have:
Muris - verb
1) To spontaneously combust a guitar through impossibly fast and accurate playing.
Cheers, batman rules!!!
Holy technique batman!!!!
But it is very ordinary neo-classical progression!
Cheers.
ahahah
"So it's kind a standard Neo-Classical piece"
I would not call this standard!
very nice muris
thank you!
I believe you can use it for an audition
as long as it doesn't have a commercial use.
I'll post a backing in my sub-board in a sec.
hey muris would i be allowed to play this for an audition? if not, thats ok, but if so, is there any way i could use the backing track? (maybe through an ipod?) Either way thanks again for making this its really helped me understand how to put more complex songs together; not to mention the chops workout
It must be fake
Welcome to the site, cheers!
?!?! mental
this is next in line after your string skipping and slap guitar lesson :-)
only joined yesterday and really like your video's
It is NOT impossible, just needs some practicing.
Hi Muris... I was just wondering whether you're taking any guitar-steroids to play like this ? It's physically "impossible" to play this fast and accurate ! I worship you !
Hello Jimbolaya and welcome to GMC.
Sorry to hear about your pinky issue, I have same problem sometimes
usually caused by too much playing and without any breaks, warm-up etc.
Perhaps you could do some warm up when you pick up guitar,
some easier exercises, lets say 5-10 mins shall be enough,
then you can start working on these 2 lessons.
And thanks for your kind words, much appreciated.
Muris, i am new to guitar master class, and i am currently practicing both this, and your advanced fusion piece. I know that i will be able to play these, but i have a problem. During my experience as a guitarist(4 yrs), i have had chronic pain in the first joint of my fret hand pinkie. Is this most likely due to bad technique, too little practice, or not stretching or something, any thoughts?...it is driving me mad. By the way, you are a HUGE inspiration. You are musical and your technique is astounding!
Appreciate it.
That guitar gotta be burning hot after you shredded so fast Good job, think I posted on this lesson before, but this just gets better and better!
Pleased to hear, cheers.
This is absolutely fantastic. It's exactly the stuff I signed up on this site for. You're an amazing guitarist. Thanks for sharing this.
Cheers...
i quit
Sick!!!!
What's the bosnian word for "Perfection"?
I just started working on this one now.... Give me a year, and we'll see.....
Looking forward to your take,
ask if you need any help tho.
Working on it. improving 1 bpm every day and trying to play clear and correct as much as I can times. I think we'll see the result in a month or two !!
No worries, now you've nailed all parts
and slowly build up the tempo,it's just matter of time and practicing.
been workin for 3 weeks and I got to play with no errors in 80 bpm. 150 bpm?! even 120 bpm is still a joke!!!
Lord have mercy!!
Youve got the devils hands!
That was very kind of you Pedro, thanks a lot.
sorry for doppelpost but this could realy help to get gmc more and more popular.. as well..
incredibble realy accurate.. the composition everything is perfect.. i knew it before.. that he can play like that nice Muris i will make some adds at my friends for your cd.. i realy think you deserve to make some money with your musik.
greetz
Pedro
Appreciate it guys!
This lesson has more replies than any other I believe, without a doubt is one of the most inspirational shred pieces I have heard, when I first saw it I had to get off my chair and pick up the guitar. Awesome, simply awesome.
It is obviously a perfect use of "force speed" technique from starwars, he is actually playing it at 70 in his own space-time and he is in comfort.
I wonder if your fingers are easy to move at these speeds as they gain more mass as they are near speed of light?
great challenge (I dare not to call this a lesson ) and 16th note triplets 150bpm seems like impossible... But as you tought us long ago nothing is impossible Mr. Varajic
Thank you
... reminds me of this rlly old game para trooper
Thanks .
i would learn this, but i am afraid of melting my fretboard. Great lesson!
ovo je cisto nenormalno dobroooo!!! svaka cast
I like it!!!
Just learn it and play very slow,
speed will come with time,no worries.
This is so sick Muris! I'm only able to play like this in my dreams
Awesome lesson!!
Cheers Jose.
Wow
So accurate and fast, this is great, I believe 150 bpm playing 16th triplets is even faster than Michael Angelo, or Malmsteen, I haven't sat down to verify this, but I'm almost positive, I will set the metronome to 150 bpm and try it
That's very kind,thanks.
I like it better then Malmsteen!
Could you record a video of you playing it?
Then post it in my instructor sub-board
and I'll see what is going on there.
O. K. maybe 70 was a slight exageration but I think I pick faster when i switch strings so when i speed up that slight shift throws me off. I 've been playing many years and can almost play much of your stuff except that type of lick. I don't know what i need to do to retrain my mind
But you joined March 2008,it cannot be a year.
On the other hand, this lesson is indeed for advance players,
perhaps you should try something easier and come back
latter on this lesson?
Just an idea tho.
I'am having a major problem. in #8 when you change strings with an upstroke[that sounds dirty]then back down with alt. picking , I can't do that ,have been trying for a year ,practice with a metronome. do you have any suggestions. ps can't even play it at 70
Appreciate it guys.
Hold on just getting my jaw off the floor....
WOW! 150!!
You are the man Muris!!!
Great lesson
Jawdropping lesson!
Welcome to GMC!!
Thanks for your kind words
but if it's too hard for you atm then you should go
with something easier, there are tons of amazing lessons on the site.
One of the hardest lessons on here!
Its brilliant.
Even attempting it makes me break a sweat
Thanks for the advice ill just keep trying my hardest
That's fine progress Sami!
But my advice is not to think about
how many years you've been playing,
it can only distract you.
Just practice and enjoy while doing it,
result must be there.
I can play video 1+2 at 70 bpm, its that alright for someone whos been playing for around a year? i wanna gauge my process haha
Hey,long time no see,thanks Dan!!
Cant believe how awesome this lesson is.This is definatly one of your best.Great Job Man
Perhaps it sounds,not sure tho
Thanks!
ia it just me or does this lesson sound a lot like the song scarified by paul gilbert? oh yeah and its amazing haha
pff... I'm way out of this league
This one really rocks, no i have somthing to do on my weekend..
You're most welcome guys,keep rocking.
I can play it.....just to play it start to finish I think I took about 3 weeks
This is insane, this will be the biggest challenge I have yet encountered at GMC.
Thanks for the wonderful lessons Muris!!
Awesome!
Hey there,welcome to GMC!
Just keep on practicing and you'll be playing it even faster!
Wow, Muris - between this and the Advanced Fusion lesson, you sure keep me busy. I can play it at about 120, but I don't think it will ever be as clean as you play it at 150. You're the man.
Thanks Bondy, looking forward to June as well!
Shock face just choosing some new lessons found this my Muris that was freaking awesome i cant wait till june to see you at the show hope you do a demo LOL
Ok, now im going for details... Im having major trouble speedpicking on the b-string and the e-string. im using .09 - .46 strings, and i like it that way, but its hard to speedpick the light strings, so. what strings do u use muris? This is great, and I thought this was ultimate, but your way of teaching is so great anyone could do it if they study hard enough. I really have to get some sleep now xD I havent slept for 1,5 days for this;)
Thanxk Muris:D
That wasn't my intention but thanks tho!!
congrats on the only 10/10 difficulty rating on the site!
You're most welcome, looking forward to it!!
I am gonna film it someday... Maybe sunday:P I will upload it as soon as its done:)
Thanks a lot Muris:)
wow,that's brilliant!!
Could you post a video or MP3 somewhere in forum?
Seriously... Today i skipped school for this lesson... At the start i did it in 90 bpm, and now im actually starting to get it in 150:D:D:D:D
AWESOME:D:D:D
Wow,that'd be awesome,keep me updated,fingers crossed!!
Hey, im graduating from school right before summer, and in 2 weeks i am going to an interview to get into a musicschool... its really hard to get in there:(
Im gonna play this in 130 bpm for them though...
Im sitting here practicing the whole day...
If i get in, its thanx to u Muris:D
THANK YOU:D
Great!
Let me know of your progress.
really great. Started to practice it. Love it
Thanks rockman,nice nick name tho.
wow. Very impressive indeed.
I'll be pleased to give you all help needed, just ask.
"Hope you like it,ask if you need any help!"
lol im gonna need alot of help haha Great job man sounds sooo good!
Thanks buddy, send my regards to Lazy as well,
we spoke few months ago through MySpace.
Eeeee, AFERIM zemo!!! I have to send this one to Lazy. He will be glad to see this miracle. Pozz
It's an honor to hear it from fellow instructor Trond, cheers.
Seriously Muris.. I'll never get tired of this one
It's one of the best practices ever. It sounds so cool that you just keep trying and trying untill you someday hopefully nail it.
Nope, you're posting which means you're healthy as ever.
I think I died.
70 bpm is fine tempo for this kind of stuff, trust me.
It's better to play it clean and comfortable at 70...
instead of pushing it around 100 while making mistakes.Right?
YEEES!!!!
I CAN PLAY IT!!!
(in 70 bpm:P)
Try it slow first
thats so crazy loved it bit to hard for me
Star Wars rocks
Say hello to your dad tho, thanks!
I showed this to my dad, and he laughed and said:
Thats like star wars xD
I dont know what he meant by that, but i think it had something with Impossible to do...
This is the fastest solo i have seen...
AWESOME
Cheers
Sir, you win
Welcome to site guys, glad you joined.
I'm fairly new to this site and I've got to say that this is incredible, truly amazing, and inspiring!
Heh is this real?!
Veryy impressive!!
Wow...I love you
I hate you!!!
Yeah,I guess it's not the easier one.
But anyhow give it a try, there are many slow backings, have fun with it!
I saw many very hard level 9 lessons, so I was just wondering what would make a lesson a level 10...
Well... This is definitely the answer.
Hey Yngwie ! Haven't seen you around here before ?!
;-)
Grab some slower backing and give it a try,you can do it.
ugh i just cant even comprehend keeping up with this haha.
Now THIS is something I'd love to see covered by our Neoclassical Master Lavedendell
Great composition and jawbreaking technique Muris!
Not sure, but it's not the easiest one I guess.
woah!!! is it the first lecon rated difficulty 10/10
School is fine, you don't have to hate it but yeah,
it takes some time, specially practice time
Thanks tho, glad you like the lesson!
Woah finally! i thought that i already played the hardest stuff at GMC but then i found this one it's amazing i havnt heard this style playing before but i love it.
Aside from the challenge, this really helped my improvisation, you rock!
i hate school
Thanks Carlos
wow muris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
great lesson!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS PERFECT!!!!
thanks
Thanks
Take some slow backing and give it a try.
your intense!!! ive booked marked it but im not quite sure ill be playing it any time soon your inspiring
Just doing my best,thanks tho!
Holy crap Muris.
I'll admit. For a while I thought you were a bit overrated among the GMC community and that you had pretty good technique and were really creative but thought some of your praises were a bit in excess. Then I watched this lesson and now I too will bow at your alter, you're a monster, and this composition is fantastic. Bravo!
Thanks,appreciate it,have fun with it!
Hahah i knew it! i knew Muris would eventually do a neo-classical lesson!!(and it would make my head explode XD), even though i cant touch this, thank you! gives me a lot of inspiration in the neo-classical style.
BUT I'm trying not to be crazy.
Thanks tho, glad you're having fun with it,
don't forget to post your take in my instructor board,
many slow backings are there, give it a shot!
your lessons are too easy....
XD lol this is crazy
Thanks.
This is the best guitar lesson I've ever seen! Great work Muris, keep them coming:D
wow that was one of the amazing things I ever seen!!!
Thanks guys!
About blurred motion,it's fps and camera issue I would say
Your right hand is just a bunch of blurring motions! That's really amazing.
Stop melting my face Muris!
Extra!!
Jel mozemo dobiti video da pogledamo?
obadvoje,
i didnt think this type of playing was possible by humans. are you some kind of robot or something?
OMG Muris!! that was definitely extreme! Great lesson mate!
picked this as my first lesson. spent few hours last night but i'm only at vid#4, i'm not used to using my little finger as the pivot i can already notice an improvement in my fingerings. can't wait to get to the sweeping parts of the lesson. thanks muris, great job.
Hey that reminds me, I must get a faster video card in my PC........
omg! Muris thats amazing, I`ll just watch this one I think
Geez! I never heard such fast guitar in my life!
U ROCK!
Woho,we have a winner here!!
Can you share a video clip with us?

One day I hope to attain god-like guitar status.
Until then I guess I'll have to just keep practicing this lesson
Awesome.
So, Mr. Vai (can I call you Steve?) What made you finally decide to join GMC?
Oh it was Muris' Extreme Neo Classical Lesson - I realized that I really needed to brush up my technique compared to Muris!
i now need proof you are human....unbelievable
Thanks guys,thanks a lot!
But please, but let it stays only on comments,
I'll be waiting for your takes.
Muris that is stupidly insane! your the man!
Mixfreak great post!
Holy s%Β€t! Such precision and flawlessness.. amazing
When I first watched this video, I turned my head and saw my guitar inching away from me. I guess it was scared that I would actually try to play something like that. I had to reassure it that I can't play that fast. I think my guitar and I are friends again.
Good Job Muris!
Muris ... now it's time to tell us your secret ... from which planet your are ?
Extreme bro!!!
Amazing!! Great job Muris!!
no way that seems fairly impossible to me
great work muris!
Nuckin futs!

Great lesson man, just great
Amazing Muris!
W0W...have to learn this!!! Amazing as usual Muris!
very extreme bro welldone and super perfect riff

Wiping the tears off of my guitar. She just told me that she will never get played like that!
That's not even fair Muris!
Wow! This sounds great, it's got its slow parts and then it's incredibly fast parts. I HAVE to learn this! Amazing job Muris!
Moderate Neo-Classic would be perfect.
A W E S O M E !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's the most difficult lesson ever !! I need 2 or 3 years to play this lesson
OH
MY
GOODNESS.
i'll quit playing guitar and start playing the triangle...
I My Gosh...you speed up the video that's what I prefer to think, instead of admit that I'm slow pipe
I am just looking at my fingers and shaking my head in disappointment. Very impressive Muris.
If Eddie Van Halen is 10 and Kurt Cobain is a 1, your a 9.97
This is.,.
intimidating.
nice one!
wow!!! thats amazing i will defintitly get this one down
I can't believe my eyes. That doesnt even seem possible (even with super ninja skills.
Incredible....wow...incredible.

Have no words to describe it, simply amazing
Great stuff, Muris!
Great lesson Muris, i hear notes that makes me remind your song Mojo Oro ..
This lesson is awesome!! Great as always Muris!
Great lesson!
Very nice job, Mr. Malmsteen! . I'm definitely gonna learn this one immediately. The cleaness of your picking and sweeps is incredible
Hello Muris
From now this is my favorite lesson at GMC!
Ill practice it 8 days a week !
Jeez Muris, is there any style you cant play!?!?!
Beautifully done, superior technique, Your alternate picking is just incredible, This is definetly going into my practice routine!
Fantastic Lesson
Wow Muris! This is exatly what I wanted from you and you didnt dissappoint! Amazing job!
Fkalich you silly
You hit a Home Run.
This is really awesome!!! Great Lesson Muris!
) Oh my god!!!!
Breathtaking!!!
Thanks guys,I'm so glad you like it!!
Mark.,I start it with an upstroke cause sweep ends with downstroke.
But at high speed it's much easier to start triplets with downstroke,
so fit it to your self.
It might be tricky to do 2 downstrokes in a row at 150bpm 16th triplets
but nothing is impossible, sky is the limit.
I think I'm gonna throw up!!!
This is worse than the fastest
rollercoaster in the world...
How on earth do you do this stuff?
Muris man, you're impressive!
So fast, so accurate, so precise,
so tasty, so... Muris!
Speechless. Maybe in 5 years?
Eddie
Wow Wow Wow Wow......This is awesome
-You make us look baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad
Awesome
Do you start the AP lick in video 7 after the sweep lick with and up stroke or a down stroke ?
D: fantastic!!!
This is just extreme !! I love it !
This is sooooooooo me muris
I cant wait to get practicing this one!!
I Bookmarked it,I printed it, and now I practice it
You make my weekend rock !!
Sick.
Woooooo! this is rocking!!!! My face just melted ahhhhh
Yeaaaaah !!!! I love you sooooo much !!
This is sooo cool !! Gonna learn it now
Oh my this can't be real Muris - this is so inspiring, thanks!!
