Noangels21st September 2008I economy picked before I was shown how to by my instructor Shaun Baxter-but other alternate pickers in the class found it very tricky.I normaly see scales and phrases as economy picked and not Arps that are swept(unless there are other notes that lead to enonomy picking)Is every one these days putting sweeping and economy picking together?Good lesson by the way,I remember being shown that a long time ago and use a more musical shape in some of my solos

Hi, Danilo here. Welcome to the third lesson about the "Economy picking" series.
Have you practiced the previous lessons? I know the answer is "Of course!" The GMC students are always hungry for new lesson’s material! So I will feed you with another little step to make your Economy picking more "economically effortless"...sorry for the word’s joke.
This lesson we obviously add another note to our exercise, so the challenge become more big, four notes pattern instead of three! No fear, this lessons are students friendly, just give them a try!
To avoid bad habitudes, read the explanations inside, and if you need help, feel free to contact me, I’ll be glad to be helpful. Turn on your trusty metronome and start to practice, practice hard, practice with fun! Remember to enjoy your practice routine, this is a guitar, not a stone to carry on!
