Because, as stated in the lesson, I tune to standard D while the actual song is in standard E tuning. You can eather tune down, or learn it 2 frets lower at first (as you hear it in the lesson), and then play it as the original.
why is are is this backing track in a different tuning that original?
Thanks, buddy
This solo is extremely melodic and well phrased.
Congratulations man !
One of the favorite solos, well done
Thanx, Ivane
Great tone and phrasing man, excellent stuff
Hi Kaz!
I forgot to mention that I am in standard D tuning here.
You're in Eb tuning right? I already found a E standard backing track, that's always a good thing It's really cool to play, to bad it has the shredy run in it, I can't play that yet
Thank you, my friends!
Catchy and melodic!
You sir, are a master!

the fast run will be impossible, but well, I'll do the rest then
Amazing playing as always Zsolt!!!
Great solo too
Agreed, Mr Marcello is awesome at building melodies. Very cool cover Zsolt!
Hi GMC-ers!
Europe is one of the most known Swedish bands of all time. The track "Superstitious" is on their "out of This World" album.
The guitarist on this album is Kee Marcello, and in my opinion, he is one of the most talented guitarists of the world regarding creating catchy and melodious solos.
This solo is fairly easy to play except for the fast staccato lick in the second part of the solo. I used this solo very often to teach vibrato, and to develop my vibrato as well.
Techniques:
Melodic phrasings
Staccato
Bending
Vibratos
Have fun!
-Zsolt
