Kristofer Dahl15th June 2023Thanks Monica, yes this is a fantastic exercise. Oddly enough after having practiced this - my picking runs are usually much smoother. That's because the left hand is most often the limiting factor in hand sync 👌
Monica Gheorghevici15th June 2023Awesome lesson and great explanation!!! That's exactly what I practice sometimes when I watch movies.

When was the last time you where hit by something out of the blue?
That's how our guitars will feel today! :D
Hammer-ons from nowhere - and more specifically Arpeggios From Nowhere - is a fantastic way to generate smooth runs that do not rely as heavily on your picking hand.
This etude will take you through various arpeggios shapes going from 190 BPM to 260 BPM (16th notes). I recommend you use the players' speed down/up functionality to fine tune your practicing tempo.
