Heya!

Here's a 6/8 comp inspired by the famous standard "All Blues" by Miles Davis.

Sound

Use the neck pickup and cut the high freqs with the tone knob if necessary.
I use the Mesa Boogie V-Twin preamp on the clean channel connected directly to the sound card and I'm adding a little bit of reverb and compression in the DAW.

Theory

The chord is G7 and we have a modal approach here to underline the G7 sounds. I use C, F, G and Dm triads to suggest the harmony : G7 or
G mixolydian mode.
