  • Hi again GMC! For this time I tried to do a lesson in the style of one of the most great guitar player in all the world... The fantastic, incredible, awesome Steve Vai.

Yes, in my opinion Vai breaks the rules and show us another way, and show a lot of new playing possibilities. Also, he has played with greats musicians and legendary bands as Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Frank Zappa, David Lee Roth, Alcatrazz. And he worked in a film(Crossroads)!

Well, I composed this lesson using E pentatonic minor scale and E mixolidian scale, and I recorded it using a wha-wha effect. But it isn’t a sound like Steve’s solos because I have a Cry–Baby wha-wha pedal, and he use a Morley one. Whatever, I hope you like it.

    Key: E major.

    Tempo: 100 bpm.

    See you soon!

    Pablo.
