Hi there, Lian here once again, this time playing in the style of Testament. This lesson was a request from the following members: TreyDeschamp, JVM, Audiopaal, Fatb0t. (thanks for thinking of me:p) So, I hope you like and help you
About the lesson:
This one, is based on Testament´s album called Ritual released in 1992, the style could be called "trash metal" but, in this album there´s a lot of metal influences. So, you can check out bands like Metallica (before black album) Megadeth, Overkill, and many many others.
We have 2 part in this one:
Riff part, we´ll use classic licks from the style, palm muting, power chords (fives n fours)
Solo part, we´ll use pentatonic scales, tapping patterns, natural harmonics, pinch harmonics, legato, slide.

Guitar tune down 1/2 step.
