In my previous
Alternate Picking Lesson, we established that
even note groupings + downward pickslanting is a great combination.
However, this combination also has its drawbacks. The most notable one being that if you ever find yourself playing an UNeven note grouping, you will fall flat.
In an ideal world - we would use the relaxed hand posture of downward pickslanting - while being able to play ANY note grouping.
Not only would this be a more flexible technique, but it would actually allow us to use it for improvised playing.
But is this even possible, without having to resort to Economy Picking?
Yes - meet
Pigato, possibly the tastiest speedpicking technique there is!
