  • Hi GMC!

    Welcome to the "Scarified" lesson!

A very challenging yet very cool piece by RacerX influenced by Neo-classical music. We're going to make use of string skipping arpeggios, tapping and speed picking in the style of Paul Gilbert.

This version is based on Paul Gilbert's solo version and the solo is a mix of parts from the original recording found in the album "Second Heat" of 1987 and the live version found in the "Space ship Live" DVD.

The last arpeggio part is not the way Paul Gilbert actually does it but it's a great alternative to the wide stretches in the original.

There's a lot to learn from this great guitarist. Enjoy this great guitar piece!
