  • Hi rockers! In this lesson, we will study a guitar solo inspired in Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Van Halen and others. It contains a lot of legatos, tapppings and pitch harmonics.

It starts with a several doble stops and a cool melody in the realtive minor of A Major (F# minor). The second and third part has a cool rhythmic pattern, that you must pay attention to. Then it comes the fast part of the solo, that we divided in two parts (part 4 and part 5). The first one is an arpeggio with tapping in A Major with several blue notes (9º, 4º). And the second one is a legato lick in the F# minor scale. Is very important to practice this part very slowly and clean, without distorition and effects. Ending the solo with a nice melody in the A major scale.

    Enjoy!!
