  • The "Pentatonic Etude" lesson is based on the minor pentatonic scale and incorporates some patterns that are easily moved around between keys and are relatively easy to speed up. Alternate picking (or hybrid picking) is also a must at higher tempos. These patterns work well in a variety of genres, especially blues, rock, and country.
