  • Hi GMCers!

Welcome to my new Funk lesson.
Funk has always been a genre that inspired me and forced to constantly practice. Recognizable syncopated rhythms and cheerful harmonies are a guarantee for a good groovy sound. Besides the fantastic rhythm, solos are even greater challenge...
For this occasion I did a combination of classic Em natural scale and A Augmented arpeggio scale.

    Guitar : Ibanez SC3120 J Custom

Tone settings : Rhythm sound - Guitar Rig5 ( Warm Tweed preset) Solo sound - Guitar Rig5 ( Blues Git preset)

    Equipment : Sonar8 DAW

    Tempo : 120 bpm

    Signature : 4/4

    Chord progression : Em7,A,G,F#m7

Technique : Alternate picking, Economy picking, Sweep picking

    Key signature : Em7

Scale used : E minor Natural, A Augmented Arpeggio scale
