  • Hi GMC'ers! My name is Cosmin and this is my first lesson here at GMC. This is the first part out of a series of concept lessons which I symbolically entitled: "The Groove".
My goal regarding this series, would be to give everyone interested in rhythm playing and development, a thorough insight on combining creativity, dynamics, feel, and control.

This particular lesson, "Funk Metal Riff" is a actually a funk metal riff, inspired by Mr. Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme, and it is played in the key of E.

In the mean time, stay focused, feel, study with your head not only with your hands and most important, never forget to enjoy music.
