  • HEY GMC!

Welcome to my new lesson where we take a look at Blues endings. Those classic moments at the end of a blues tune where the band stop and the spotlight is on you to playout the final riff. What are those riffs? Those commonly heard phrases? Well here are a few of my 'go to' patterns that have been used on countless tracks throughout history.

The collection varies from climbing/descending riffs to all out lead breaks to make a statement at the close of a tune, the options are there for you to chose what you feel best fits the moment you're in.

We will be looking to do more of these lessons in the future, building a bag of riffs and phrases every blues player should know.

Have fun and i'll see you next time!
