Diego Budicin19th August 2022Ok cool, is the Neumann mic giving you warmth while kemper gives you a bright tone (or is it perhaps the other way around)?
Exactly! The Neumann provides the dry warmth to the sound, grabbing also the small rvb of the room as well as the pick attack. The Kemper is the bright one, full of effects.
I found the mix to be incredibly effective Hi Diego

Amazing composition Diego! What mic(s) did you use for the guitar? Any tone altering plugins?
Thanks a lot Kris!! I recorded it using two different signals: 1st is a kemper with an acoustic amp simulation, chorus, rvb and delay. The 2nd is the Neumann TLM 103 mic (bought I guess 12 years ago) which sounds really awesome! It's great for vocals but also for acoustic instruments such as acoustic guitars. - Kristofer Dahl16th August 2022
