Hi Guys,
Welcome to my lesson No. 31
I made some cool funky Mixolydian Licks in E by using the Pentatonic scale combined with some typical blues phrasing.
It demonstrates perfectly the use of chromatics, bendings and also some licks that come from the horn players.
This could inspire you to create your own cool licks too!
Also try to use all Licks over different chords (sometimes you have to change some notes so it fits better over the chord!) and you will discover a whole new world!
Enjoy!
