Original lesson: Stevie Ray Vaughan Inspired Phrasing by Jonathan Burgos

I missed doing this and tried a more difficult one this time. Can't wait for you feedback :)

If It's Steve's style I would go for even less drive and more power from the right hand smile.gif I think this take needs a bit more precision. Some of fast runs are not clear enough. Also try to fix all those unwanted strings noise while You make those slides down at the beginning. Look at how the author usues soft part of his right palm tu mute all low strings. Anyway You keep the groove and spicy mood of the track. Good job smile.gif

Hi man. I concur with Darius here.

Work on muting. Both hands contribute to muting unwanted string noise so take care not to neglect these aspects of guitar playing.

Your vibrato could be more controlled and stronger... I feel like you're following the phrases, but you're not really 'playing' them if you get what I mean ? The notes are right, you just need more groove and attitude.

But it's not an easy lesson.. and you did a good job !

Hey mate smile.gif

As the guys are saying - you got the hang of the lesson structure but interpretation is the most important thing here, so work on the lesson a bit more, taking Darius and Ben's advice in respect to kicking a bit more of a punch and adding clarity to the playing.

Keep on rocking mate!
