Original lesson: AC/DC Complete Style II: Hard Rock Solo by Lucio Antolini

Hi ! :D

Ben Higgins
This is a good attempt but needs more work to make it sound precise and controlled. Although this solo sounds simple in terms of technique it actually calls for great accuracy and control. It requires all of a guitarist's arsenal of bending, vibrato, timing and feel.

2 areas I would focus on first would be to make the bends sound even and controlled.. the other would be to focus on the right hand synchonising better with the left.. not just for articulating the phrases but also for preventing unwanted string noise. You'll get there ! cool.gif

It's a rocker take! Great attitude! smile.gif I agree with Ben's comments so I don't have any other thing to add on this one. Keep on rocking! smile.gif

Very well played, with some cool energy and (in general) nice cool rockin tone. What I would suggest is that you spend a bit more time on the bends and vibratos. Also, some of those phrases are proving tricky for you, so it would be best to keep them slow until you rehears them. This costed you of effective ending as well.

The advice given so far by the guys sums it all up! I would say that practice makes perfect, but do it while paying attention at the key points in Angus's playing: bending and vibrato with a big nerve! and precise clockwork timing! Keep going on the right track Mr. Rhoads biggrin.gif
