Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Gert!

First of all, welcome to the REC zone. It seems that you worked hard and prepared some lessons for us. That's really great.

The main problem is the sound of your recording. Unfortunately, because of this issue, your take can't qualify for grading. But don't worry, we will still give you feedback for your performance. wink.gif

Now let's go through a few details:

When you play the arpeggiated chords, try to be careful at your right hand position. You don't have a good resting point. Please, see how Gab keeps and moves his hand.
Also, make the transitions between chords at the last moment to avoid having a pause between them.

Accents - try to give additional care in this area. Notice which notes should be played with accents. If you put the accents in the random way, it will not sound good.
Make each note sound clear. As an example, at 0:14 I can't hear the second note of the chord. A similar issue also happens at 0:24.

The strumming part sounds far better than the arpeggiated chords. I love the fact that you kept a good picking direction and I want to congratulate you for this.

It would be awesome if you would work more days on this lesson and fix the details that I pointed out. It's better to take care and repair the issues. Once this lesson is done, I will recommend you other lessons.

Keep up your great job!
