Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: The Voice Of Your Guitar by Cosmin Lupu

Take 2. I have practiced with your input and tried to stay in the beat this time and make my bends more accurate. I hope you like it. Jeroen

Hey mate!

I can hear some improvement on the vibrato - it's wider and rounder than before, but there are still phrases that are a little offbeat and some bends which are unsure. I suggest you to try and record over the original recording so that you may feel the differences and don't rush into it. Articulation is something that will not change overnight, so give it some time to settle in, ok? smile.gif

Keep rocking!

Cosmin

Hi friend! I think that you are going on the right track, I note improvement but this ones are not big but it's normal, you need more days of practice to improve this take. As Cosmin said, timing and bending are still the things on which you should focus.

For timing, the best is to play over the original lesson, trying to copy Cosmin's rhythm and groove. Regarding your bending technique, it would be good if you give a try to this lesson:

Keep on working! wink.gif

I will agree with guys on this one. Try to spent some more time on it before publishing another take. You still need to work to get consistent left hand basis for vibrato and bends.

Tip - don't make Your left hand fingers flexible - it's hard to control the pitch this way. If You make them straight and tensed then the control would be easier and only the wrist will make the motion. You can put a few fingers together to get solid grip. They will support each other. Hold them tight and close.
