> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Ram, it's interesting to see how you slowly improve the playing of this lesson. I can notice how the riffs start to sound tighter. The is still room to improvement, mostly for that part at 00:43 which is repeated many times, and the whole riff that starts at 00:53. I think that you are getting close, now it's time to focus on details, endings, connections and the pinch harmonics.

Keep on the hard work! wink.gif

As Gab pointed - You're getting better and better. Your takes are more precise and this means that Your overall technique is going tino good point smile.gif From some time I cannot find any huge problem with Your hands work and layout. Most of Your work now is about focusing on the track and getting familiar with all notes so good, that You don't even have to think where to put Your fingers. This will leave a lot of headroom to focus on timming and precision. Well done smile.gif

Hey mate smile.gif

Step by step you will nail this one! Now, aside Gabi's suggestions, I will go for the unwanted noises and the vibrato - you need to clean up your playing when it comes down to riffing and the vibrato needs to be wider. Have you tried to play against the original recording yet?

If not, please do as it will help tremendously!

Keep rocking!

Cosmin
