> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi there friend! smile.gif I hope You'll not hate for this but seems like You stucked with the bending issue. When You do all next takes, You get better with precission and timming but the bending problem is stil there. Maybe You could make a break and focus on this particular issue? Most of Your bends have to high pitch - You're overbending.

I would suggest to find a lessons like this: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Bending-Ballad/

Where You have some long sustaining bends so You could focus on this particular lesson.

Hey amigo!

Darius is right and aside those over pitched bends - the beginning riff could be a little more defined smile.gif

Focus on the bends tho, as they seem to be your nemesis at this time! Work slowly and why not, when rehearsing, do it over the slow parts of the videos in the lesson and try to reach the bends so that your playing will perfectly match that of the instructor's, deal?

Your timing is a lot better with this lesson now but you can still get it tighter yet.

As my comrades have pointed out, there's a tendency to over bend so some work in that area is a good suggestion ! smile.gif

Hi mate! I think that this take is better than the previous one but you still have to work on some things to make it sound perfect. The first riffs should sound tighter with the drums, this is even more noticeable around 00:17 and 00:21. The solo is now closer to mine but there are still differences in the phrasing, timing issues starting at 00:41, and as the other instructor said, pay attention to your bending pitch.

Again, I think that this one is better, but there is more room for improvement.

Keep on working hard! wink.gif
