Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey man!

I think that this take is building up nicely, but you should focus on practicing some things a bit more:

- bends - they are not exactly reaching the correct pitch all the time
- the faster runs are blurry and they are the ones that need your attention most, in this lesson - see min 0:49 - that lick needs to be more firm from the point of view of intention - hope I am clear, eh?

Keep rocking man!

Cosmin

Hi Coffeeman! While I was checking your video, I read that great quote in your sign. smile.gif I think that Cosmin details exactly the two things that need more work: Your bends and the faster licks. Take the most difficult parts and practice them as a loop until you master them.
Keep on rocking! wink.gif

Hey mate! smile.gif Nice to see You again in the REC zone smile.gif The problem with some of Your takes is :

You play at the level that keeps the flavour of listening and You don't do any falses, missed notes, annoying mistakes. Listening to You at the live gig would be pleasant and You always keep the energy of the songs - that's the good thing smile.gif

...but there is also a bad one (I hate to write things like this - please forgive me sad.gif )
I feel like You're stucked in the moment - Your last takes reach some precission point and it's always like 60 to 80% then You pass ( I don't mean passing the lesson by good rating) You lett go and do nothing more with it...i mean true and honest workout (this doesn't mean You don't give more trying - we know You do).

I'm not claiming about Your attitude. I'm just saying You've reached some level that needs to be crossed now (for further developement) and this will demand more attention to each lesson so You could skip to another level of playing. The Devil sits in the details and those are tiny things You should work on to make Your playing better.

Now we whould judge Your takes looking from a different perspecitve. We know what You are able to play but we need You to show us more smile.gif

For example I would spend even a few weeks, months of analysis and playing to make just one lesson perfect...not for anyone else than me smile.gif I think this is the time for You to make a decission or just tell us is this just a fun or You want us tu be cruel in the constructive for You further workout.

Just some thoughts of mine...Subjective of course
