Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hell Yeah! smile.gif Nicely done Patrik! Good, powerfull tone smile.gif Let's see what needs some fixes tongue.gif

0:14 - Something wrong with the slide - seems like the note You slide from is a half step down from the correct one smile.gif
0:24 - there should be slide - final note replaced by 2nd finger
0:47 - Please go to the lesson and see where the open notes ends and become harmonics. You do those harmonics to early leave 5 strokes after the G (3rd fret) with no harmonics. See the slow videos smile.gif
0:55 - at this moment You should lay down the left hand fingers so there would be no harmonics at all...just a dry, muted sound. You can hit all the strings while doing this...or at least 3 low string

Ending lick needs more workout but You already know so no need to dig this again smile.gif))

Overall progress is very good and those are just a details. Also watch out for the timming - You seem to be a bit forward comparing to the drums at some moments and...Focus on the 8th notes in the ending part....try to make them more equal. You can use wider right hand movement smile.gif

Thanks for the take Patrik! You did great and it's very pleasant to listen. Just do those details and You'll surely pass smile.gif

Hey Pat, since this was Darius' lesson, i think he pointed out the important aspects. What I can underline, is the attention to detail smile.gif I know it can be very frustrating when you record and notice a little teeny weeny mistake you did and carry on with recording, while at the end you know it's there and you think that 'man, if I only did that one right, it would've been perfect!' Focus on being aware of every detail and with practice, you will most likely get the highest level of proficiency with this one smile.gif

Cheers and keep rocking!

Cosmin

Hi man! Good job on this tricky lesson! I think that Darius marked the parts that need more job so now it's time to take this sections and practice them as a loop over metronome to master them. I'm sure that you will get a perfect take soon. Keep on the hard work!
