Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Nice take man! You learnt the phrases perfectly, now it's time to add more feeling and expresion to your playing. You have to add vibrato as Sinisa does in the whole lesson (check it and try to imitate it) and also improve a bit your bending technique, because sometimes you don't reach the correct pitch. Your timing is very good as well as your tone. So concentrate on those things and you will be doing a perfect take.

Nice and clear ! But I have to give you a few critics, nothing major but still useful ..
What bothers me the most is the shortening of the last tone in each phrase - you're making too long pause between the two phrases. Take advantage of the latest tone and extend it, as Gabriel says- use vibrato to keep that tension ! It's a very powerful weapon if you know how to use it, thus you'll get the fluidity of the entire composition.

You have a very nice tone, I like it, and because of that and a subjectivity a bit, I'll give you 9 !
Again, don't forget to work on VIBRATO technique wink.gif

Hey mate! I agree with the guys and I think that one solution would be to record yourself against the original recording - in that way you will notice where you shorten the notes and where the bends are not in perfect pitch and where the vibrato should exist or become wider if it's not. smile.gif

Then, after becoming aware of all these details, record against the backing track and observe the changes wink.gif

Hi my friend. That's a beautiful guitar you got there.. nice tone too smile.gif

As Sinisa already said, you're shortening the phrases too much. It feels like you're in a hurry to get rid of these notes !! wink.gif Just let them hang there and enjoy them a bit more. And Vibrato..... there isn't any yet. So this is something you want to look into as it will make your lead playing sound a million times better smile.gif

Your string bending is generally quite good.. you're pretty good at nailing the pitch straight away, this just needs some refinement and also adding vibrato will make your bends sound even more awesome.

You're also missing out a few notes and making some of the phrases simpler than they are so, although I don't like deducting points, I gotta be fair smile.gif

Keep it up and you'll make big improvements. I look forward to more of your videos.
