Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

It's getting better every time!
0:18 needs to be played smoother try to practice this phrase only and make it more legato!
0:35 this part is played using chicken picking technique if you will check the spoken video I explained this technique
0:52 This part is natural harmonics played on the 7th and 5th fret you just have to keep your index finger above the fret and you will get the harmonic effect!
1:11 the last chord was off the timing
The whole take still needs work! Maybe you can try to do the same take but using a slower backing track! If you want we can work on it at your mentoring thread! Let me know and I will be happy to help you out!

Hi Dieter. As Alex said, it is getting better every time. The chord progression around 0:20 - 0:22 is still not the right timing though. You're waiting too long before playing the high E & B strings so it's making the chords after it late.

The tone is much more suited to this track though... it will require you to use your picking hand to mute unwanted string noise so lightly rest the side of your hand against the strings near the bridge to reduce any excess string noise smile.gif

P.S. I forgot to say - I like the dog pic at the end ! biggrin.gif

Every new take is better than the previous one! You are doing a good job, and I'm sure that it must be very motivating to see your own progress. These are some sections that need extra attention and work (Alex detailed it perfect) but you are on the right track. Your timing is much better as well as you tone. Keep on the hard work! smile.gif
