Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Here is an old take I did of Muris' Harmonic Minor for Beginners Lesson. Recorded this one for the MTP so forgive me for the title.. laugh.gif Few timing issues with the tapping section but I must say after watching this again, the mtp has helped my picking technique a ton! smile.gif

Anyhoo, here's the original by Muris...

I liked this one. Some notes were not in time and you made a couple of mistakes.

Its good to hear that you already know where your mistakes are. That way you can work and correct them for next time wink.gif

The timing was quite good at the start, but lost it a bit in the 2nd half.
I noticed your picking hand is very stiff, and you do alot of downstrokes.
Try to get some more AP in there and loosen the hand up. I think you would benefit greatly from that.

very good! Couple of notes didn't came out, otherwise there would be some 5s in there for sure. I suggest that you spend some time practicing those minor mistakes. It requers a small amount or work, but it means a lot in the overall impression.
